If I didn't know better, I'd say this was Joe Torre's idea of April Fools' humor.

I started a joke
That started the whole world crying
But I didn't see
That the joke was on me

I started to cry
Which started the whole world laughing
Oh if only I'd seen
That the joke was on me

I looked at the skies
running my hands over my eyes
and I fell out of bed
hurting my head from the things that I said

Till I finally died
Which started the whole world living
Oh if only I'd seen
That the joke was on me

"&bull" really is perfect.

Because I'm running around the office yelling, "Bull! And, bull!"

Sigh. Just yesterday, I was thinking to myself, what the hell are we going to do with the OutWatch if Juan is going to be a bench player?

Well, we have our answer.

The OutWatch, unfortunately, is alive and well.

I don't have the energy for a full post, so let me just comment that
last night turned into a draw, with Juan Pierre replaced by Matt Kemp when they switched to a lefty with the bases loaded. Sadly, Kemp struck out.

To sum it up, Kemp went 0-2 as did Pierre. So for last night at least, it was a draw. I am happy to see that Torre has the sense to bat Pierre 7th.

On a more positive note, Ethier went 3-5 with a double, so his sweet swing has in fact carried over from spring training.
