Work to do

Though I'm loving Juan's recent offensive outburst, it's important to recognize that he still has work to do. Even after yesterday's 2-for-5...

1. Grounded to short. #210.
2. Lined to third. #211.
3. Singled to right! An RBI for Juan! But out stretching at second. Addendum #4.
4. Grounded to third. #212.
5. Singled to center.

...we note that he was still responsible for four of the team's 27 outs... and still, his OPS is only 641. He's got to get that up.

* * *

Despite all this evidence to the contrary, the LA Times still thinks that Juan is a good ballplayer, cherry picking his stats like hits, runs scored, stolen bases, and batting average, but not outs, on base percentage, slugging percentage, and caught stealing.

The OutWatch, realizing that it still has work to do, is cowboying up. We are ready.

* * *

Juan's pace is still 520 outs.

Amazing how quiet you were while the Dodgers were in a bad stretch and Juan Pierre was playing so badly he got benched and moved to the #8 spot.

Are you a fair weather fucker?

Great post jimbilly. I hate fair weather fans.

I'm like you. It's all about the players I hate. Not just the team.

Go Padres. Best record in the league.

And how about those rolling A's?

I wanna lick Depo's asshole so badly I can taste it.

Not surprised to see Humma Kavula is a regular at DodgerThoughts. DT is is haven for those who wish failure to the Dodgers. Like a honey to bee.

I have been trying to parse your last post, joeyp, but can't quite figure it out. I am sure it is a flaw in my own logic, but I am not sure what the Padres and A's have to do with whether or not you only feel compelled to make snide, sarcastic, and obscene comments when the Dodgers are winning and/or Pierre plays well.

It sounds like it all comes back to your obsession with Depodesta, who is or has been associated with those two teams. Both have been doing very well of late, as you point out, although Oakland has a ways to go to catch the Angels. Would you still want to insert your tongue into a rectum so badly if these teams were doing worse? Or would you want it more?

You see, that is the problem with DodgerThoughts. In addition to their clear and unending hate mongering, they would never allow such a scintillating and deeply profound exploration of anal play.

Thanks to you all for your comments!

To address ytrytry's implication, that I wish failure on the Dodgers: have I once revelled in a Dodger loss? Please point it out to me.

I have revelled in Pierre's failure, it's true... but that's precisely because I want the Dodgers to succeed. Even when Pierre is playing as well as he can, he is still not a good player. He should be benched. When he fails, the Dodgers come one step closer to making that determination.

How is honey attracted to bees?

I wasn't going to say anything. He liked saying it so much he posted it twice in a row. I didn't want to hurt his feelings.

And maybe he meant to reverse em. Some kind of hip, ironic backwards thing too clever for us squares. Some sweet person is going to come into being?

You just don't know. Better to say nothing at all.

In fairness to ytrytry, I do think he meant to reverse 'em. The posters, like me, are the bees. The site is honey. The site is to its posters like honey is to bees.

Awkward? Perhaps, but this is a blog -- no, it's a blog comments section. Mistakes and poor construction are par for the course. I can't even be bothered to correct my typos, and it's my blgo. I mean blog.

See, ytrytry? Everyone is welcome here.
