Brooms

Sorry, fell asleep at the switch there. I did notice that Juan had a pretty good weekend, sort of, as the Dodgers swept the Reds.

FRIDAY

1. Single to right.
2. Single to center.
3. Grounded to pitcher, #121.
4. Groudned to second, #122.

SATURDAY

1. K. #123.
2. Singled to left. Caught stealing, #124.
3. Singled to center.
4. Flied to right. #125.
5. Popped to short. #126.

SUNDAY

1. Sacrifice. #127.
2. Single to first.
3. Grounder to third. #128.
4. K, swinging. #129.
5. Bloop single to short. Charlie Steiner says, "Pierre could not have hit that any softer." Lucky devil gets a two RBI base hit instead of an out! Good for him, and good for the Dodgers -- it looks like a line drive in the box score. He'd steal second and score.

He came up 14 times and didn't make an out in 5 of them. That's fine. He certainly looked a lot better than he did on Wednesday.

Pace is now 549 outs.

Plus the most exciting this moment this weekend had to be the appearance of me, the little woman and our double trouble twosome on the TV. If you were watching the Sunday game on Prime Ticket we appeared right after the 7th inning stretch.

Vin Scully even made a remark about babies sucking thumbs (Rylie had her whole fist in her mouth). Dude you have got to get yourself a baby and bring it to the ballpark. They are camera/Scully bait.

There's a baby prospect who's likely to get called up in time to start next season.

I hope that baby is ready for the big leagues of having Vin Scully coo over him or her.

Congrats, that's awesome.

Most dissapointingly, no one scored in the 7th inning so none of the Prime Ticket Rebroadcasts had us on it. Right now the only copy of the image I know of is sitting on my Dad's TiVo.
